How do I set the minimum voltage on Multiwii?

Post by Voguna »

I got two 2200 mah batteries in paraell and want to get more flight time. both batteries are brand new and after 5 min or so, the voltage is 11.4 ca on both. I think the multiwii is doing something with the voltagedrop or something that i dont want to happen. I want to have both batteries go to 10 v ca, so i can fly more. Any suggestions on what in the code i should change to get the multiwii from 11.4 v to 10 v ?

Do you have some voltage sensor?
I do not think MultiWii is doing anything like that.

What do you recommend to buy when you want a powerful quad? Motor recommendations. :?: :?:

I know that ebay sellers sell A2212 1000KV motors they also call them T13 with 30A ESC.
Let say if you have X525 frame or similar and 5000mah 11.1V battery then

10x45 properllers are best

You will loose 30% of fly time with 10x47 or 8x45 properllers.

If you have 2200KV motors then you should use 8x45 or even smaller.

There are some online calculators. (you enter your quad params like mass, etc and you will get results)

May be with 750KV you need 12x45 propellers.
