Multiwii 2.3 sketch

Post by glasair200 »

I am trying to use the HK Pro flight controller in a airplane, but cannot find a airplane "sketch" for this board . Also, don't know where to plug in the throttle and various servos. I had used it on a quad and it worked well.

I would appreciate if someone could give me a hand on these issues. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I've made a HUGE mistake buying a multiwii board. MWC 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 don't work on my board. I can't arm this board on these useless firmware. It also seems that no one cares to help me out with the problem.
So I am using megapirateNG 2.7 R4. This works pretty well for my quad X. MegapirateNG also provides firmware for this board for plane use. Calls ArduPlane sketch.

good luck

What board did you bought? HobbyKing Pro FC..the red one? MWii v2.3 is working like a charm.

Yes the Hobbyking Multiwii pro red one. Well, not working here, in the GUI I do not see any live rc control feed, and I can't arm the board. Receiver and Transmitter work perfect. I just went back to megapirateng 2.7 R4, again, for the fifth time.

You must use mwii gui v2.3 with mwii v2.3. Did you define the right board: FFimuv2 i thikn...try this v2.3 sketch...it is made for your board and mtk gps. Just change magnetic declination.

My sketch is almost the same, except at gps baud. But my GPS is working tho, the problem is I can't arm it. On youtube someone told me it could be my radio limits, that these are too low. I should up them to like 115% or 120% or so, so my throttle will reach the arming point.

The arming as to do with the yaw... First thing first, after erase eppronn, instal mw2.3, the use the gui2.3 and see if you have connection... The board type in the sketch is ffimuv2... Check the com port if correct and the speed...

Hello this is what I did a couple of times:

1. remove eeprom
2. flash 2.3
2,a calibrate esc with radio
3. check with gui for 2.3 and connected good, GPS works and calibrate ACC works.
4. live RC control input does NOT work
4,a try some other "fixes"
4,b can't arm
5. pull out my hair and cry
6. clear eeprom and go back to megapirateng 2.7R4

Does your Tx sticks goes from 1000 to 2000 in mwii gui?

Take props off. Then connect battery to your quad wait for boot-up and then connect USB to computer and check if sticks work?
