My second quadcopter with 40cm size, weight 800g, 10 "propeller, CF2822 motors, controller with SimonK firmware hovers and flies quite decent, but after control input or wind or descent it oscillates a bit.
This is not really tragic, but on on-board videos it looks bad.
I tried P-values from 3.8 to 5.2 and hardly detected a difference about that oscillation
What else should I try?

Sensor vibration? How are you damping vibrations from the frame to the sensor board(s).
I'd look into prop balancing too of it were mine.

Try the low pass filter of the gyro to see of it are vibrations. I have good results with 42Hz.

If those "P" values are for gyro (i.e. pitch and roll), even the lower value may be too much for a light 400. Try the stock of 3.3 or maybe 3.0.
