Multiwiiconf 2.1 question about throtle,pitch/roll curves.

Hi can somebody explain me what do those parameters marked in a red line ? I searched what are they for but couldn't find a good explanation of that.

MID I don't know. I leave it stock.
RATE is how sticks are sensitive.
