Multiwiiconf 2.1/2.2 constant crash

Hello,
Ever since I started using Multiwii (right when 2.1 was released), I've never been able to use the MultiwiiConf, it constantly goes blank with the grey screen. Sometimes it'll run fine for a few minutes, others it'll just go blank almost right away. Configuring a new board is beyond frustrating. To get around it in the past, I've just resorted to using bluetooth along with the EZ-GUI Android app. This method works, and gets the job done but I would just love to be able to work from my desktop. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64, the 64bit versions of the conf have never ran on my desktop, nor my laptop (also running the same OS and is also prone to the random grey screens). When I saw that 2.2 had been released, I had hopes that it'll run on my system, but it hasn't, which leads me to believe it's likely something on my end. I've been checking back in the forums, every month or so, for the past 9 months to see if anyone had a fix for this issue. I have yet to find an answer so here I am asking for help.

Right click on the exec file and 'run as administrator'. If this works, you can default it to this mode in properties/compatibility settings.

I had no problems with this program but had issues getting the MultiWiiWinGUI to run. It's worth having a look at as it's a nicer interface.

Had to do three things to get it going on my W7 x64 machine:
1. install .Net 4
2. move the whole program folder to a shorter file path, ended up just using C:\MultiWii Tools\MultiWiiGUI\ ... instead of having it sit in my user path.
3. run as administrator.
