[HELP] accelerometer problem : wrong angle

Post by f3nt »

Hello to all !

this is my second multiwii project : a reptile 500 with a flight controler CRIUS AIOP V2. Everything is fine for the moment, nos crash, i work on my pid's, the accro mode is flyable (a little drift, and some very small oscillations), but i have a big problem when i go in stable mod.
before the flight, i did a calibration of the accelerometer on my laptop, aircraft grounded and steady for 5 seconds, all the graph on the screens were normal.
and in flight, when i pass in stable mod, my aircraft take 20 degrees of angle in roll to the left, and go to a fast drift.

i put of my FTP a very short video of the phenomenal :

http://perso.numericable.fr/~glfloren/stablemod.zip

i check the code on arduino, the asked angle is = 0, so i really don't understand what happened with the accelero.

after the flight, i check the calibration of the accelerometer in multiwiiGUI, and the calibration is not proper anymore.

how is it possible to lose the calibration in 2 minutes ? it's always the same error, roll +25... if i calibrate, everything go to 0, and in two minutes, i will have +25 again.

have someone an idea to help me ? ^^

thank you to the community.

Flo

calibrating your ACC and trimming it are two different things that both have to happen.

have you trimmed? read the MW FAQ
