I know what youre thinking, oh its the motor direction. i assure you it has lifted off the ground, and i have double and triple checked my connections and the rotations. I have a multiwii 328p connected to 4 hobbymate escs and hb2832's and for some reason not only do they not all spin up at the same time, the speed varies wildly. At full throttle it cuts out and picks up constantly making it unflyable. Any suggestions?

Quadcopter Does Not Lift Off
Re: Quadcopter Does Not Lift Off
Have you performed all ESCs throttle range setup?
also try CALIB_ACC.
Although I find in Auto Level mode can help motors spin in the same speed.
In the video you have only one propeller.
If you are in level mode, it will not continue to speed up even you give a full throttle.
Your quad is trying to even itself by speed down one motor.

Re: Quadcopter Does Not Lift Off
You need 4 propellers to fly.
Not one.
Not one.
Re: Quadcopter Does Not Lift Off
Velen, thank you for the advice. I Will try that this evening. Much appreciated.
Dear Subaru4wd,
The reasoning behind removing three of the four propellers was to be safe during calibration. Its common knowledge that four propellers, one per motor, are required to lift a quadcopter off the ground. The propeller was added to induce a resistive force on the motor to amplify, and to make visible the issue I have been having with my setup, because that is not the only motor esc combination that is having issues. Thank you for your understanding, and your advice is always appreciated.
Best regards,
Clay.

Got it. Thanks Velen.
Re: Quadcopter Does Not Lift Off
Yes i know, i was being funny.
Anyhow, the issue you are having is the quad wanting to remain stable... and with only 1 propeller lifting the quad, it will continue to do what you see in the video.
Install all four props and try to hover. Record video of that and post it here if you are still having problems.
