part selection help
part selection help
hey im relatively new to quadcopters and im hoping someone can help me. I've decided that its time for me to start buying parts, except im not sure what i need to buy. for my first quad i would like to keep things simple, the only thing i know for sure is that i want to use an arduino pro mini with a WM+. Eventually i would like to add a camera and maybe some other things so i know i will need to be able to carry a heavy payload. If anyone could point me in the right direction, or even share a build with me that has worked in the past, i would be very thankful.

Have you considered something small to start out with?
BlueSkyRC makes a nice mini plywood frame for $10.
Flyduino makes a cooler Carbon Frame that integrates with their NanoWii. They have a video of Warthox flying that thing like I can only wish I could do.
