Building a MultiWii Bicopter

Post by mickvwijk »

Hi everyone, i'm Mick and am looking to build an FAAT BiCopter.

My idea is to take a Turnigy Talon Tricopter Frame and use an additional Intergrated Tail Servo kit and move them to the front booms.

Frame kit:

Servo mount kit:

I'm wanting to use the MultiWii Pro Flight Controller with GPS.

Flight Controller:

For motors i was thinking of using NTM Prop Drive Series 28-26A 1200kv with MA 3 Blade series 9x7 props.

Motors:

Props:

For ESC's i would like some advice, i was thinking maybe Turnigy Plush 25A's:http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__2163__TURNIGY_Plush_25amp_Speed_Controller.html

and use an FrSky D4R-II 4ch 2.4Ghz ACCST Receiver:

other than this i will be making a custom CF rear wing and I really hope one of you can advice me a good battery. i have also done total weight calculation which came in between 900 to 1000 grams.

any advice would be grately appreciated.
