How to do a flip

Hi there,

I am pretty good at flying now and since I got my shrediquette tricopter converterted to multiwii last week, i want to try my first flips.

Can someone give me some advices how to achieve that? My tri is pretty stable so it cann handle hard impacts pretty well.

What maneuvers are neccessary for a flip and how to react while in midflip etc.

I understand, that if the throttle is too low, there is no GYRO control anymore and that this is very dangerous...

you can start like this:
- a fairly high altitude (20m)
- if your hover state is at 50% throttle:
- a fraction of 75% throttle (0.5s)
- full pitch backward + 50% throttle, don't try to go below 50%, it's not useful. Never go below 25% in any case
- never stop a flip if something goes wrong, wait until the end, it's better to crash in a flat position
- at the end of the flip: a fraction of 75% throttle (0.5s)
