GPS return home

I was testing the GPS home last week and I had some odd issues, it does work flies about 8-10m around the home target. (I hope I can get that closer).
but the big thing was if I turned on GPS home then touched the pitch/roll (to help out) it acted like it lost the home target and would freak out. I could switch off the home then back on and it would work again.

so does the gps home stop working after any pitch/roll input?

No. When you move pitch/roll stick gps is temp disabled and then reactivated again when you leave sticks.
