power one motor from UI?
Is there a way in the multiwii/any other UI to only have it power on one motor at a time? so I can help isolate vibration.
Re: power one motor from UI?
put the controller in Acro mode, and keep he throttle low, just above idle. Then use the right stick and push it into a corner, and it should cut 3 of the 4 motors. Moving the stick into another corner should activate one other motor.

Do there is no UI debugging tool or stick compo before arming that will tall the system to only power one motor? since I have a hexa I am not sure if all the motors will cut if just be changing the rate at a low idle?
Re: power one motor from UI?
Its probably best to just connect one ESC to your RX at a time and do it without the flight controller.

There is a special version of MultiWii called vibtester.. Lets you run one motor at a time..
I cannot find the url at the moment..
Sorry
Also there exists a motor tester standalone program.

or use an android vibration app and place the android on top of your boom of the motor you are testing.

There's a vibration test tool in Mwii.
Enable in config. H.
It's a non flyable mode and you need to upload to switch mode.

In Config.h.
Code: Select all
/********************************************************************/
/**** Dynamic Motor/Prop Balancing ****/
/********************************************************************/
/* !!! No Fly Mode !!! */
//#define DYNBALANCE // (**) Dynamic balancing controlled from Gui
