Buttonpress for North direction

I wish I could point my huge octocopter towards trur north, and press Align or something to calibrate the compass..
For me it is hard to calibrate it because of the size of the copter. And removing the FC is nothing I want to do each time I make a modification in the code.
I am trying to get GPS hold/RTh and BaroHold/MagHold to work.
Is this even possible?

Teaching true north is not enough to make use of the 3 axis senors data.

I was afraid of that, since there are 3 sets of Mag Data..
I will move my FC to a spot where it is easier for me to remove it from the copter when I need to calibrate.
