D term close to zero

Post by albertoLG »

Hi all, my new frame is a QAV500, moved my crius AIO from the old frame with same ESC and motors with 10x4.7 APC props... started to tune it and in a couple of days I couldn't get a D term more than 5 or 6 with P = 2.8, it's stable but isn't D term too low? is this normal? everything is well balanced (motors and props) so no vibrations at all...

P.S.
MW version is 2.2

thank you

if it works for you (copter stable/agile the way you like it) then it is ok. There is no best fixed one single value for all (or else it would be hardcoded already). Do not worry, enjoy and fly.

I always fly with zero D, from Y6 to tricopter.
