DJI 450 Clone with RCTimer 2830 1000Kv Motors and 30A Timer ESCs with SimonK
Crius AIO Pro with Extend Board. Multiwii 2.1 Gaui 8" Props
Quad always has flown great. Haven't changed PIDs
Today, go out to fly.. Works fine. EXCEPT: Full Throttle FFF it will suddenly yaw hard counterclockwise. It's like a spinout! Will not do it in a full throttle straight up climb.
This is in LVL Mode.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
YAW issue in FFF

If MAG is activated, it might explain this.

MAG is not activated. Also verified on the ground that there is no drift even at full throttle.

It's those flimsy gaui props ! Get you some gemfans or apc and your problem will be solved ! Be sure to balance all new props also ! You also need to run 9x4.7 props with that motor !

Thought about prop flex but, I didn't think it would always spinout in the same direction everytime. Have so 3 blades props I'll slap on to try.

Re: YAW issue in FFF
I also see where you said that was in level mode ! I would'nt attempt fff with acc on , i would only fly fast with just gyro 's (no sensors on) ! But if your set on flying with acc on at least try lowering the LEVEL P value down a little so it won't be as strong to try and level aircraft !
Re: YAW issue in FFF
Tried Gyro only - still does it.
Tried GenFans - still does it.
Tried Cutting PIDs in half - still does it.
