PID issues? Video showing problem

Post by oterpoter »

I flew my quad (lunar lander from quadframe.com), and in acro mode it does some very strange oscillation/wobble, and sometimes I can recover it, but i smashed it twice tody.
Video showing onboard flight. See around 02:30 and out..
Do I need to tune my PIDs? Or is it the accellerometer that is screwed?
Same model behaves strangein stable mode as well, and I suspect that they are related, thus PiDs need to be changed..

Any help is much appreciated!

The pid is fine for the first 4 minutes, your PID tuning is fine. Looks more like loose connection, radio glitch, or esc battery cutout.

I think lukibob is right, it looks to be flying nicely for several minutes, so it's likely to be a power issue or a bad connection.

Looks like motor connector problems to me ! Solder motor wires and use no motor connectors !
