PID setting

Post by mrk172 »

How do you change PID settings. I am using the Quadrino Zoom with the 2.0 software.. I've tried clicking the boxes and changing trims and I've looked for instructions. Can someone please tell how this is done?

Thank you..

Hold left mouse button down and move it left or right to change the numbers.

Thanks a Billion!!

When my quad lifts off, it's flies for about 3 seconds then drops. Motors start surging. Will PID settings help at all or is it likely a wiring issue?

Thanks

PID will not help with this problem.
This must be a power issue.
- To weak Lipo
- Wiring to thin
- Bad soldering

that does sound like a weak or unbalanced battery. I have a crappy charger and my batteries quickly lose balance, so i have to take them to a friend to balance them for me. when one cell goes weak before the others I've seen my copter try to flip over from take off or suddenly drop out of the air and twitch like a dying bug.
