Alex, this is a great idea - hope it works and you don't just spend more time monitoring this board and the RC Groups too. I'm a newbie doing my first build and have been lurking on the other forum for a couple of months. I don't know how basic you want to get or whether you want newbies like me "going back to square one" and asking stupid questions or not. Trying to find specific answers in your R/C Group thread is a little overwhelming with almost 500 postings. I'm not sure how you can possibly parse it all out here but it's worth a try. Hopefully it will just evolve over time.
Would it be appropriate to put simple set-up and "how to get started" information in the Set-up and FAQ section? Maybe a "Sticky" there with links back to RC Groups where there are some pretty good build threads? Maybe a separate section on "Getting Started" for idiots like me.
By the way, feel free to delete this posting - just thought I'd get things started and wish you luck.
