Control acrotrainer via TX switch?

Post by ummagawd »

I've got a devo10 tx with deviation firmware hack...

Was wondering if it would be possible to assign acrotrainer (off/on) via one of the aux channels?

I recall seeing a youtube video too where someone uses POT controls (I have 2 of these on the devo10) to adjust parameters. Anyone know what this is called or how I can research this more?

thanks

Since ACROTRAINER only works in ANGLE mode, you can switch between ANGLE and HORIZON mode to disable/enable it (those two modes are similar in its behavior (eg. auto leveling)).

You can set other modes in MWii GUI.

This thread caused me to go and try acro trainer for the first time, very neat but I have a question. What is the 200 in config.h mean? +/-200 from stick centre?

Thanks

As long as you keep stick within StickCenter +/- 200 => ex 1300-1700 you will be in HORIZON mode.
When you exceed the threshold you will have ACRO...

Center stick and you will be back in HORIZON.
Using 200 will give a very distinkt change if you move the stick to much unintended!...
Try to set it lower to get the switch earlier and smoother. ( <100 )

Thank you PatrikE that clears things up greatly for me! I'll check my radio against the GUI before I make the software change, 200 was too high for sure for my liking.
