Hex MultiWii
Hex MultiWii
It seems every where I read that I must use a PPM Sum compatible Rx if I intend to fly a Hex. Is this true? I don't plan on using the camera option (at least just yet). I want to just fly the Hex in X mode, can I use a standard Rx?

Hi,
I discovered there's maybe a way to still use a standard RX with a 6 motor config on a pro mini.
It would imply to move PIN5 and PIN6 on other free PIN, A0 and A1 for instance.
In fact, as the PWM is software generated on this PIN, we can use the ones we want.
If you have a shield witch is ok with this, I think it's possible.

Wow, this is new

It means we could skip the ppm converter then, cool. Keep us posted.

Re: Hex MultiWii
hello,
would it be very difficult to move that pins, i think it wont be just replacing every PIN5/PIN6 in (HEXA) code with A0/A1 ?
because then Rx input is still missing?
