QuadX or Quad+?

What's your choice? Any difference in performance/driving? Why quadX seems more popular than quad+?

1. X format looks fierce.
2. i think you get a better motor efficiency out of X though im not certain this is fact or rumor.

If you're going to any kind of photography, a cross (+) configuration places one boom clearly in the cameras field-of-view with any sort of reasonably wide-angle lens. With an X, two booms appear only in very rare cases of hyper-wide lens'. Other than that I'm not aware of any advantages or disavantages. Yes, I realize that in your motor-mix coeffcient tables with a X, no single flight vectors are pure, but I really can't believe that this would play into any advantage.

I went with X for the same reason (camera view), and X just look cooler (obviously subjective)
