Dear friends
I buought a multiwii pro control board that supports dgps.
I need to have very accurate position (<30cm) in an indoor aria . Do you have any idea about this?
Can i use the dgps feature on the board to do this? If yes how can i build the transmitter stations?
Thank you

Gps or differential GPS is just for outdoor use
you won't get a good results if the receiver finds something at all...

Yup, but then you need a somehow varying underground
It can't see any flow if the ground is all the same colour, just to keep that in mind.

How does your typical mouse do it on a smooth surface? Hmmm... It works, I have a Flymentor with the optical lens and it holds very well up to about nine feet.

Could it be possible to use the structure in the roof in stead of the floor?

All those cool "Quadcopter swarm flying in formation" videos are using marker-based optical motion capture. It's going to be expensive (minimum of several thousand dollars to get set up with something like Natural Point OptiTrack), and you'll need to set up your system in advance, but it's hard to beat for precise indoor position -- millimeter accuracy.

Just an idea to discuss......
I don't know how accurate readings can you get OR the distance that is working but Wii offers an IR cam which i think that can do the job.
Some IR LEDs in the room and........
Just think about it.
