pitch/roll and the 3D model orientation

Post by ArduBtSonarWii »

Hi Everyone, I am new to multiwii, now buiding a quadx with arduino nano and mpu6050. Currently I am still testing with the config GUI. One thing I was unable to figure out is about the 3D model and pitch/roll on the upper right corner. According to the 3D model, the front arrow is between 2 motors. but when I rotate the quad along an axis between two motors, the 3D model and pitch/roll simulator does not rotate along the same axis. I assume that this will cause problem in real flight test. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

probably the physical orientation of mpu6050 does not match the code configuration. Either rotate the sensor or change the orientation in the config
