FPV vs FAA - and this hobby in general

Has anyone on this site been following the FAA rulings directed at or regarding to our FPV Hobby?

Just found the lack of chatter to this topic strange. The FAA, as I understand it, will be closed to comments regarding its ruling on July 25th 2014. Please see AMA website for what's about to happen to our hobby.

Personally, I made my feelings known on the government site and change.org. Given that Congress said that they didn't want hobbyists affected, I find this interpretation surprising.
