Guys (and Ladies), please I understand that everyone may not like TimeCop and how he come across at times, but he really is a good guy with good intentions. Alex, I ask of you please, can you create a sub-forum for the NAZE32 development? Things over at RCG is really getting out of touch and far from reality. After all, the Baseflight is a MultiWii port and this site is All things related to MultiWii

I couldn't stand the guy when I joined RCG but over time you learn his sense of humor and he knows his stuff.

I can see why he winds people up but he has always been an ally to MWC even if it runs on 8 bit;-)

I've got one of those cheapy stm32s coming from china at the moment as do several other people. It would be nice to have somewhere to focus 32bit development and help each other out.

I think that concentrating the 32-bit MWC topics on this forum is the best idea. I really find that the huge threads on RCG don't work for firmware/FC discussions. Plus, RC pilots and OpenSource developers don't necessarily relate well to each other. A lot of people in the R/C community don't get the OpenSource idea.

about RCG:
someone brought up the idea to move away from RCG and go elsewhere because of the moderation modus applied. Any idea which other rc-related forum currently carries about a similar range of topics and knowledgable users?
rcuniverse - gone the myspace route?
helifreak - too narrow focus, mostly helicopters?
others?

I agree with you on Multikopter not being to my liking. I registered there, made a few post, then tried to close the account. They claimed to be different from RCG, but they are following in the same footsteps.

how about we expand multiwii forums . RCG is almost unreadable with all the missing posts by banned users

Besides the over zealous and misguided moderation, I find the massive threads for a single flight controller to be unusable. A flight controller and firmware warrant their own sub forum.

I am using RC Groups less and less as I move to open source systems. Still, the bulk of users are still on RCG.

I have also noticed a slow migrations away from RCG. Most of the post in Multi-Rotor forum is vendor related and much less related to builds.
