I was wondering if anyone has successfully got this RGB-module (http://m.banggood.com/CJMCU-8-Bit-WS281 ... 58214.html) to work with multiwii?
I would like one of these on each rotor arm, and if possible, imitating different patterns. An option would be to drive them from a second arduino, but how will I tell the second arduino, through an AUX channel to turn the lights on, when all PPM values are send through one wire to the FC with the PPM_SUM feature enabled? Can I send only 3 AUX states, without triggering a failsafe loop? Can the missing AUX PIN then be tied to ground, to simulate a reading?
Happy New year!
Best regards
Christian
