Connection problems (windows 7 => Multiwii FC

I connected the Multiwii FC for the first time, with succes. i uploaded the code, made the copter flying, i want to adjust some things and now my PC doesnt reccognize the board anymore. i tried another PC , the same problem! anyone some advice?l
the problem begon when i tried to connect the GUI 2.3 instead of Gui2.1...
i am getting a little desperate...

Does the Com port show up in Device Manager when you plug in the USB?
Is it the same Com Port number as before?
Is the MW board powering on and booting?

If the port shows up then open the properties and check that the driver is working.
If it is not then you may need to remove the drive and reinstall.

Does the Arduino IDE connect?

Hi waltr,

If i Wait a a while ( app. 2 Hours) i can achieve a connection, i uploaded Some data and after a while The conn. Dissapear, pop up again, dissapeared again, an so on for a few times until The conn. Is complete dead... I am thinking that there is a default on The board itself, is that possible?

None that I know of. I have had MW FC's run on the Config gui for many hours without issues.
Is the MW FC loosing power?

This really sounds like a Windows OS problem but there could be an FC hardware problem.
Does a different FC board do this or just this one.

Well, like i Said, i tryed another pc, and it is The same. I dont have another FC. I want to buy a New one... Hoping this Will be a sollution...

You are connecting the board to your pc with an ftdi or cp2102 adapter?

Can you do a loopback test with that adapter, to see, that adapter, cable, usb port are working?

Hi all,

I managed to solve this problem. i bought a new flight controller plugged it in and this one stays connected without interruption. i thing there was been a connection problem in the cable, or in the connection (mini usb)

Examine the soldering on the bad FC with a strong magnifier. Then re-flow any suspect solder joints.
