hey all

i am new to the Bluetooth seen i got a http://r.ebay.com/ljAXuD MWC Multiwii SE Flight Control Bluetooth Parameter Debug Module Adapter
and i have tried to connect it in every way i thought of. i have a hobby king MultiWii PRO Flight Controller w/MTK GPS Module got all the gps going well.

using multiwii 2.2 cause cant get 2.3 to work

i am able to connect the bt module to my pc but not to multiwii gui. i tried to change the ·Baudrate cause it sates its at 9600 but did not work tried to change to serial speed to 9600 but did not work

please help i am out of my depth

BT must be at 115200 serial speed.

As long as the USB cable is plugged in, the serial port is connected to USB.

i have been able to get the win gui working using usb but if i unplug the usb and plug my battery in to quad to power bt i cant get it to work then.
the bluetooth is paired to the laptop but cant connect to fc via bt on the gui on the pc

Ok well I got it to connect to the laptop and paired but wen I go to connect gui to board in gui the gui freezes

Would still like to know about if there is Anyang in the Arduino script that needs changing specifically for this task

What gui you're using? mwii java gui or wingui?

I am using wingui but will look at mwii java gui as did not know it was around

There is a known issue with the 2.3 WinGUI R7.

R8 works perfectly!

Ok thanks Jimbo found the new gui but It only works with multiwii 2.3 and for some reason I got get it to work like 2.2

My issue with 2.3 is that when I have armed it and push the throttle up it only activates mid throttle

Use MWIi JAVA GUI and version 2.3 if you have mwii v2.3 on your FC. Version must match.

i have got multiwii 2.3 working on my hobby king multiwii pro and soldered all pins on to the board.
i am still unsure if i must change any scripting in arduino
i did see u are ment to change the rate of the board but have not been able to do this as dont have the tool only a usb asb tool.
saying this i was wondering if it was possable to change it using the usb asp ?

What tool? On your board is micro USB connector. So connect usb cable and you can do what you want.

The last bt module I ordered seemed to have a defect so ordered the Multiwii MWC FC Bluetooth Module Programmer (Android compatible) it's buad rate is right at 115200 but still having problem connecting to my pc running multiwii 2.3 I can use USB but I want to use bt Cus it's easier.

But with bluetooth you can't flash hex file to the FC. With BT you can just use MWi GUI to set pid's etc,...

The main reason for having blue tooth on my quad is to set pid and calibrate Mag ete

Nothing to change in v2.3 for bluetooth. Maybe your BT adapter is not set to 115200 serial speed.

On all set to 115200 but could it be because I am trying to connect the bt to my pc

I see you're using multiwii win gui? If you're using mwii v2.3 on your FC, then use multiwii_conf gui - java based...you can find it in MultiWiiConf folder.http://code.google.com/p/multiwii/downl ... p&can=2&q=

Try it and report.

No I have an iPhone and it does not work with iPhones

Try first with Java based GUI.

Hi I read here that your baud rate needs to be set to 57600 in order to work with iphone. Could also be the reason your software is freezing, because of the mismatch.
