GIMBAL PID's ...?

Hello,

I plan to use a mwii board for a servo gimbal. Went to the wiki and did not find much info there.

For mwii2.2
How is the "normal" way to use a mwii board for gimbal only (copter type = GIMBAL, ...., board fixed on the copter or on the gimbal?, servo P/R or motor-out P/R, ...
and "normal", there is no way to set PID's for R/P?
Is it possible to configure QUAD+, connect digital servo's to motor-out R/P, receiver to control R/P to R/P inputs..., and where to put the board (gyro-acc only)?

The idea is to have the same way of setting PID's as with the brushless gimbals, but using the mwii software.

Any suggestions would help me going in the right direction.

As i can see, you can't put the board up side down (Z-pointing down)?..., is there an easy code change to make this possible?
