Hi...
I want to connect the status-led port (i think its D13) to my whole LED flexible Strips.
How can i do this. I think i need a transistor. Can someone post a working circuit, please?

Re: How to connect Status LEDs
here's a circuit, not sure if this is the best method:

Re: How to connect Status LEDs
how much current does the leds draw?
Re: How to connect Status LEDs
they draw max. 400mA...

Re: How to connect Status LEDs
this is the curcit, the bd 237 will support enough current
Re: How to connect Status LEDs
Thanks...
Today i tested the circuit. Works great. I use a BC639. The Datasheet says that this Transistor can handle 1A collector current.
... now i can connect a whole Christmastree to D13
The LEDs from 1m flexible Strip draw ca 250mA..
