I am in the process of completing my first tricopter and have run into an annoying glitch
Transmitter: Orange T-Six
Receiver: Orange R615X
FC: Flip MWC Flight Controller 1.5
While I can arm the FC as normal, I am unable to get any servo response to rudder stick movements. The servo is working - it centers on power-up and I was able to get movement by connecting it directly to the aileron control on the RX. When viewing through MultiWiiConfig, I see no response to rudder stick movement but I do see a value of 1936 in the servo field. This value changes slightly (about 1880-2000) if I pitch and roll the tricopter. The servo settings are 1020 min 2000 max and 1500 mid. I have calibrated the accelerometers. I tried an eeprom_clear. Neither had any effect on the issue. Is my Rx bad? Is it a setup issue somewhere?
Is My Orange Rx Bad?
Re: Is My Orange Rx Bad?
My EE son helped me do a bit more digging and we discovered a broken connection to the rudder pot in the Tx. Rudder is working fine now
