I'm working on a hex build, and I have the futuba 8J for my rc.
After reading through the manual, I'm having some second thoughts as to whether this will work with a multirotor (all signs point towards traditional heli or plane)
Does anyone have experience with this unit, or have any advice?
Thanks in advance.

Futuba 8J for multirotor?
Re: Futuba 8J for multirotor?
That radio will work fine.
Setup it up in AIRPLANE mode whjich is what is used for multi-rotors.
Do ensure that all mixing is off. Any mixing that is required is done within the FC code.
Next is adjusting the Stick center values (sub-trim) and End point (gains) using the MultiWii Config program to read the stick values.
Here is a starting tutorial.
