Is there a way to tell if the ESC's have been tuned, or flashed? Have a prebuilt quadcopter with Turnigy basic 18a esc's. and have no idea if they are stock or not.
Can you build a quadcopter and simply install store bought esc's without anything being done to them?
Sorry for all the newbie questions, but hey, that's what were here for.....
Cheers, and many thanks.

Re: ESC tuning ?
Can you use a hobbywing programming card on them? If so, they are not flashed
Re: ESC tuning ?
@copterrichie, sorry i am not sure what you are asking. I have a programming card coming from HK, but it has not arrived yet!

Re: ESC tuning ?
All that I am stating is, if you are able to use that programming card, then the ESCs most likely are not flashed. Flashed ESC's only need the throttle range set to my understanding. That has been my experience.
Re: ESC tuning ?
The powerup tune played when a motor is connected might also give a hint. Most ESCs with a stock firmware can be programmed with the transmitter directly, too - no need for a programming card.
