Turnigy 9X setup guide
Hi,
I just received my turnigy 9x but have some problems using it with my Quad,
I bound it to my TR6a PPM summ receiver and I can see the gauges move in the GUI.
I set it to ACRO on the TX and the channels are all mapped correctly (THR, YAW, PIT, ROL) but the range of the channels is pretty weird.
They should go from 1000 to 2000 right? But thy go from 900 to 1500max, what is wrong here?
I never used a programmable TX yet, jsut the T6A and it was supersimple.
Where can I start (I have no possibility to flash ER9X sorry)
Nils

Re: Turnigy 9X setup guide
Hi,
I don't know if I can help much, I recently bought a TGY 9X but I am using the Rx that came with it.
What I did was configure the model, I gave my the name Xcopter. Then the type selected was ACRO, the mode was PPM and Mode2 for the sticks position.
Then I configured the center in the SUBTRIM to 1500 and the end points to 1950 and 1050 in the E .POINT option.
That was it, I hope this help.
Regards,
Luis Sismeiro

Re: Turnigy 9X setup guide
So,
with a little help I found out, that the module seems to be the problem, the PPM out of the TX is valid.
Anyone has an original RF module for sale?

Hi Nils,
maybe, if you send me back your old one. I would have slaughtered mine to get the module case to fit a Jeti Duplex TX inside. I have one "PCB-type" TX in my MC-12 and don´t want to buy a new module now.

Re: Turnigy 9X setup guide
So I vot a new module and now she flies.
I flashed er9x and managed to setup the switches via mixera to my needs. Just need a 8channel ppm sum receiver now.
Maaaan the copter is fast and responsive now.
My old TR6a had only about 90% stick value from 1100 to 1900 but thos baby goes all the way and no jitter.
I can really say this one is worth every penny.

Hi there, you should upgrade to Er9X and Frsky module, I've done that recently and very happy with that. My Tur9x is switchable between 2 modules now.
Not English forum but you can see the pictures for the whole process http://rchobby365.com/diendan/showthread.php?t=14787

With Frsky the sticks are now more precise with multiwii.

Re: Turnigy 9X setup guide
I'm looking at getting the Turnigy 9X and I'm not sure how to set up the wiring between that and my Multiwii 328P. Does anyone know or have diagrams etc?
Re: Turnigy 9X setup guide
The 9X is a transmitter.
The Multiwii 328P FC board is wired to the Receiver just like any other FC Bd and receiver.
