anyone had any success using the esc-calibration routine in the dev version?
Up until now I have seen failure reports only. If it does not work, we might better remove it.

So if it has worked for you, now is the time to speak up, please.

I worked for me on a free flight 32 bit port of MWII.

My ESC's don't do anything with this procedure, just go through start-up.
Have lowered MINCOMMAND to 900 as per some suggestions, to no avail.

Any suggestions?
I've tried this on my testing platform (with and without modded ESC's), but I'll be flashing my octo's ESC's soon, so I'd like this to work! :)

EDIT: Fixed it using my trusted method, with DISCONNECTED!! props:
- Set MINTHROTTLE to MAXTHROTTLE in software, upload.
- Turn on TX Armed (Aux2 for me)
- Connect LiPo to copter
- Hear beeps from ESC's -> High-endpoint -> DISARM
- Confirm beeps from ESC -> Low-endpoint -> Kill power
- Reset MINTHROTTLE to normal in software.
- Upload
- Enjoy
