Motors spinning on power on

Post by MrAamer »

Hi MultiWii Experts,

I have been building a brushed motor drone using following components.
1. Arduino Pro Mini
2. Mpu6050
3. SI2300 brushed motor esc
4. 6mm brushed motors
5. FlySky CT6B PWM transmitter/receiver

after connecting everything successfully, I see the following in multiwii config software.
1. I can see the transmitter working fine and showing in multiwii gui tool
2. drone gyro and accelerometer working fine
3. arming correctly and moving sticks shows the movement

issue:
when I connect the battery and drone with computer using usb cable I see that the motors start moving at full speed. when I move the joystick I do see a very little change in motor rpm.

please help me where is the problem. I have also set minthrottle to 1000 and maxthrottle to 2000 and defined Motor_Stop also.

a) do a calibration of the acc
b) please verify in the GUi that the motor outputs would have the values your brushed-esc expect for motor-off and various throttle values.

when armed and running, the motors will spin up & down to counter any tilt movements
