Hi
I'm going to buy four escs but I don't know which to chose. I need max 20-25A (I will use these motors http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... 750kv.html ) and they sould work with new version of multiwii. I thought that HK SS is good but I have read that it doesn't work with soft >1.7.
Please help
And sorry for my english
what esc are you using?
Re: what esc are you using?
I currently use the Hobby King SuperSimple 18A (HK-SS20A-HW), with Simon Kirby's alternative firmware. Quite happy with it, the new firmware made a big difference in stability and noise emission. Motors are DYMOND PROFI AL-2826 with EPP 8x4.5 props. These ESCs should work fine for your choice of motors, too.

Re: what esc are you using?
I actually have this programming card, too - it works for the HK SS ESCs as well (until I switched to the tgy firmware, that is).
Re: what esc are you using?
these just showed up in my mailbox, I am hoping they will be good ESC's (my motors are aeolian too), i am wondering if the turnigy programmer would work for them?
Re: what esc are you using?
Are you using those esc, version 3.1, with a arduino pro mini or pro micro controller?
the reason I ask is that I cannot get any combination to work with the 3.1 version of the turnigy basic 18a. I have 6 of them and they are useless as of now. i really want them to work and cannot find the combination that works.
Anyone know where to by some escs with the old atmel avr controllers?
Re: what esc are you using?
Here you've got a hole list of usable Esc's: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... ZRlE#gid=0
Re: what esc are you using?
I just got these to work with my pro micro fc and multiwii 2.0

Re: what esc are you using?
I would advise any ESC from the HK UBEC series. Search for F-20A or F-30A and so on to find them.
Very good hardware and can be flashed with Simon's firmware.
Good stuff.
