Tip on cheap complete frames

Post by drstock »

This guy in Poland sells some pretty affordable frames for tri, quad and hexacopters: http://quadframe.com/
They are made for kkmulticopter but have lots of mounting holes for other boards.

I bought a quadcopter fiberglass frame from him that was really nice (a part from the slow shipping to the us). For some reason it's not for sale on the webpage right now but the assembly video can be found on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGW-qyr4NXs
Hopefully I will have it up and flying with multiwii soon. :)

Indeed! I've got one of his aluminum quad frames and they're tough as nails! A tad bit heavy, but for the weight, the thing is super rigid and very well designed. Plus, he's super easy to work with and gets back to you right away if you have questions.

Holy smack, that looks awesome! :o Super price and it even includes a camera mount, although without pan.

Not in English but in this thread one can find quite a few nice frames, of course with pictures.

frame is definitely worth the money, but not a penny more. the landing gear will break first hard landing, and the arm frames will start breaking shortly after that. it was a good choice at first because i only broke $15 worth of frame, my next frame will be aluminum or carbon fiber.
