I want something smaller & more rigid than my X525 for my next build & thought this might do the job. Good price as well so no tears if badly trashed.

How much more rigid than aluminium do you want to get?
And for rigid, that is exactly the wrong way to go. The plastic arms amplify vibration and the dji clone arms are often so soft, you can easily bend them by hand.

Yeah point taken. I might check out the folding CF as well as it would be nice to have a quad that would fit in a camera case & take travelling.
