Open Source Multirotor Frame Project

Post by jy0933 »

ATTENTION: All the ORIGINAL PUBLISHERS preserve the right of all published drawing. All the drawings/modelings are not for commercial use. You may ask CNC shop to make them. But DO NOT use them for profit. You might contact the author if you are going to mass produce commercially.

PURPOSE?
just for fun... and kill time... and trying to think of something innovative... let me know if anyone wants to contribute to this project... that will be awesome

all the works are done in solidworks... the uploaded pack will include original modeling file.... feel free to modify them for your own use.

And to CLARIFY: at the moment.. they are basically conceptual designs... If anyone fabricates them and has them tested. please leave a feedback what is NOT working and what should be IMPROVED.
(I might create a paypal donate icon to raise funding to fabricate and test... if there are enough people supporting this project)

ALSO... is there any file repository that can be use to store/update the modelings?

the funding will be used for fabrication and testing the designed frames to reach best results.

Suggested Thickness of material

Main Plate--- 3mm CF
leg--- 3mm gf or cf

all the holes are made 3mm diameter....

necessary hardware.... nylon standoff at your choice... for leg fixture... preferably using aluminium screw/nut

the FC mount hole are 30.5mm(naze32/opcc) and normal 45mm fixing holes

the leg mount holes are filleted to decrease stress concentration.... remember to trim the edge of leg piece to fit in the slot

The leg is design for normal VTOL and lift battery off ground ... might not withstand hard landing or crush...
