Re: Turnigy 9X RF Module
If you are going to do that, why not just go with a Fry module?

I wouldn't recommend it since you've only seven useful channels (6 with cppm - one wire to fc)

Re: Turnigy 9X RF Module
I want to use it for my standard tx. Frsky is too expensive right now.

How much are you willing to pay. I have one sitting on my desktop.

Actually there is a firmwire update which corrects this issue and is designed for use with multi copters, it is availiable on frsky website...and in many forums, I think I guy on DiyDrones helped/or developed the needed changes...Just FYI..
Re: Turnigy 9X RF Module
Not only is that issue fixed, but it only effects the CPPM output, so if you are using the standard 8 channels you are fine. Plus the 2 way telemetry cannot be beat. And it might seem like its expensive, but the first time you experience a brown out with your stock T9X module, you will waste more than $60 in quad parts.
