Re: MultiWii EZ-GUI
A request. I've run into a situation today where my quad is yawing counter-clockwise for reasons I can't fathom. I tried turning on logging, using MultiWii EZ-GUI, but only to find, radio and motors numbers are not included in the logs. Please can we have this? Thanks Andrew EDIT: Also ARM'ed status...

Yaw counter clockwise ~ 90 deg/sec (solved)
I'm using Multiwii shared as of 1380 from SVN. I was flying this quad on Saturday with no issue, other than the crash that was *ahem* my fault. I had to do a little bit of a rebuild, and now after the rebuild I have a continuous Yaw counter-clockwise at about 90 degrees per seconds. I've tried adjus...

I know you said you didn't want to play the HK quality game. However I'll suggest these; m I have a set of 4 (plus one spare), I haven't had a quality issue with Aerodrive motors yet.... Just ran it threw ecalc, says it'll exceed the max 160Watts at full power but not by much, and not quad copter sh...

Re: Tricopter, direction of propellers
Thanks Hamburger, that confirms what I thought I saw in the source code for the mixer for TRI. It looks like I need to do some tuning of the frame/motors/props and get the vibrations out.
Thanks again!
Andrew

Tricopter, direction of propellers
I've built my first tricopter after building numerous quads both using MultiWii based flight controllers. I had my tri up in the air today, it was doing ok, there is some servo slop which isn't helping (on a side note, anyone know good servo's for tri's?), it's cold out here (near Toronto, ON) and I...

Re: Is the D-term in the multiwii reversed...?
[Heading hold in the tailrotors of a helicopter could - in theory - also be implemented without any integration. But the performance of a PI control loop is in practice much better than that of a P loop. I am developing my own multicopters since 5 years, that is why I had to read a lot about it. fr...

Re: MultiWii EZ-GUI
Bart, i like the new dashboard! Bigger text is better. How about setting a new home on map and then navigating to it? I made a mod on crius BT and i replaced the pcb antenna with a 30mm wire (lambda/4) and i had continous link until 174m with an galaxy s3. If i could use an external BT with the sam...

Re: GPS integration
I just committed some rework on the HMC5883L gain calibration (init). The code is based on Fabio's FreeIMU code and I think this is as good now as it could be on this platform. After some experimenting I decided to keep the current offset calibration method (MAG DANCE) since the ellipsoid to sphere...

Re: MAG calibration - ISSUES
Correctly if I am mistaken here but having the Mag is basically good for Waypoints, Return to home and Navigation. I really don't understand the need to accuracy at this stage of the game. What about Headhold and Headfree modes? Heading Hold, I am not so sure about, I personally use the YAW PID and...

Re: Odp: MultiWii EZ-GUI
Hello; MultiWii EZ-GUI is a great tool, best one on the Android market, but it doesn't seem to be supported under OS 4.2, and/or Nexus 7 tablet? I'm able to still run it on my Phone, but a release for 4.2 / Nexus 7 would be great! Thanks Andrew It should be available for android 4.2 from now. Let m...

Holybro Hobby MWC - 328p with FTDI / DSM2 port [Solved]
Just wanted to let you know I've kind of solved the issue. The board has a bad 3.3v regulator on it, so of course none of the sensors get power. I put on an external 3.3v source on the bus and all the sensors came to life.... now I have to weigh RMA at a cost of 1/3 the board to mail it back to chin...
