you can rescan/close/reopen.. and hard disconnect the serial port . the gui will now handle the work

i started to work on the layout .. will be tabs and menu , see the screenshots in the first post .

Are you using V1.0 of arduino ide? Checked your board and comm port settings and reflash. Yes.iam...... i v done this several times with no results. BUT working perfectly in my LapTop..... you may want to try at a lower refreh rate try with m install those files in the same folder than you multiwic...

Features request are now open, what should come in the next release is :

- adjusting PID settings
- save/load PID settings
- save/replay all sensors log
- add attitude panel
- add altitude panel
- add motors / servo panel - completed

you can also start participating on github

sounds like a RXTX jni / windows specific issue to me : With your workstation , please do some testing with : - m - C code , it will tell if this is only related to the serial reading - m - Java code , it will tell if this in a threading awt issue the issue is : rxts is not preventing non java code ...

You can adjust the baud rate and the refresh rate

It should work with Bluetooth

the threading issue is now solved , was my fault, sorry you can get the latest snapshot : m for Android,Blackerry (both are java based and come with BT) , we can use the same multiwii serial protocol decoder/encoder , but the ui has the be rewritten... also i am producing low quality "no framew...

it is very easy to achieve stability with small dimensioned props .. and thus for the evident reason that the smaller the props the finer the granularity for thrust adjustment . so i made a little test starting from 2S 8" and increasing the props .. 8" , 9" then up to 10" and 3S ...

- confirmation dialog
- error messages displayed in case of errors
- value are preserved when file loading is failing
- checkbox : you can import settings from other multirotor without having your aux settings overwritten

it is a very quick fix .. we can do anything to fit the gui requirement : we have full control over awt and component painting :)

those motors are designed for 8 X 6 up to 9 X 3,8 .. and draw 18 A

the average middle range motor will spin 10 X 3,8 .. at 12 A

changes for more efficient motor or remove weight ?
