Re: ESC calibration
Agreed I to would like a coded option to calibrate all ESC's at once. Doing them all one by one is a pain, especially when you have to dismantle most of a copter to get to all the appropriate plugs and what not. This is what I've created to calibrate ESC on my quad: RC3toMotor.rar Feel free to modi...

ESC calibration
I'm using RCtimer 30A esc's and I beleive the throttle calibration on them is getting messed up for what ever reason. I have them running on a hex and their pretty well hard wired in so its a pain to reset the throttle enpoints calibraion and programming changes by hooking up directly to an RX. My q...

prblem is i suspect that some ESC's that automatically recalibrate themselves based on the max throttle thats seen. that can be a problem for those of us that have 6 or more motors / esc's that are hard wired.

Re: Octocopter w/2 batteries, how to set up PowerDisteibutio
yes you can use 2 seperate ciruits. look at it this way... you can have 2x seperate 12v inputs running 4x motors each. you should probably use a dedicated BEC to power your rx, wmc, and accories running on one of the batteries / circuits. for your power sensors you would have to hook that up to one ...

CG effect and demo of hex flying on 2.0p3
Hi recently built this hex: The CG turned out to be way off. Go figure. Now it flys well but only is level mode. Without lev active it will need ton's of TX trim and then switching level mode on and off is not possible. With level on it actually flys great after software trim. Any problems with this...

my question is, at which point does it make sense to move from a quad to a hex? my current quad does pretty good with 3s 2200 - 3000mah batteries and gets decent flight times. if I add my go pro it can't really pull out of a hover very well. would adding 2 more motors help? also is this going to kil...

definately want to remove the props for testing but other than that yes its possible to do. Depends on your setup. 1 BEC I had didn't like it and was actually backflowing voltage from the USB into the batteries causing the BEC to heat up. If you have a seperate BEC you may want to uplug it.
