FYI - imo this board at this time with the current coding is not worth the trouble as stable mode is not working correctly yet from my test.

darn didnt realize this was released was fighting the atmel i1 acc all weekend trying to get it working with 1.8p2. havnt been able to get stable mode working right with that board no matter what ive tried.

i find it hard to beleive that the mwc is locking up unless youve dont somthing to the code. mine have never done that and I've used 1.5 - current.

had a great night of flying myself. with this board and baro everything worked as expected. was able to stay within about a 50' box in stable mode and 30' of alt. The heading hold works pretty good too.

Is the lpf setting integrated when defining ATAVRSBIN1? I'm flying 1.8 with only the defaults havn't touched the #define ITG3200_LPF_XX settings. test flew with 1.8 this morning flew great. I didnt adjust the LPF settings and it flew fine. has the LPF filter setting been defined by default when the i1 is uncommented?

3a apply 12v power to esc's
4 esc's will blip motors indicating that the max thottle point has been detected.
I cheat by removing 12v power from the ESC's, activating throttle on the FC and going max throttle, then quickly connect ESC's so they pick up max throttle. then onto step 5.

from what I've heard you shouldnt have to mess with the min/max.
reset those to defult then calibrate the ESC's.
you can also try reseting the yaw direction.

I increased roll and pitch P values yesterday a bit more last night. I think it can go a bit higher but am still fighting some bogging issues. lol OK - didn't even realize that would work! For mine I just hit calibrate while the model is still. its weird because the LED start's blink and didn't ever seem to stop so I figured there was somthing wrong witn the calibration routine.

Alex - yes this is the case. This same copter flew fine with WMP/ADXL 345 only in 1.7. With this i1 sensor board it is unflyable until I set it at 42khz. Thanks guys. im now running the same quad with the atmel ineria 1. with default pids in the current dev code MultiWii_dev20110714 and the itg3200 set at 42khz it was a bit floppy. i've dialed in the attached pids and am quite happy with the performance. still getting some bogging at around mid stick when the bat...
