I tried twisting wires & even screened cable & moving FC up 30mm but still up to 20degrees shift with full throttle. With ext mag on mast out front not even 1 degree shift & with white foam on end I have great orientation.

I have throttle expo set to .50 & it just right for an X525 with 1000KV motors, 10x 5.5 props & 3cell 3000ma battery. If your small quad is overpowered it will perform as you report. You may have to change props but setting expo is a start.

I haven't actually run MW on an Arduino UNO, but suspect that you either have incorrect connections to your board or you have not set IMU type in Independent Sensors section of Config.h. Ensure that you select the correct IMU. You can read the number from top of IC.

You said you had same FC in first quad. Try this FC with V2.3 in your second build. Also as Waltr pointed out it could be an issue with PPM so try direct connections instead to see if this resolves throttle issue.

What are your AUX switch settings? Check that you don't have Baro enabled as it takes over throttle.
If you have TX ranges set correctly then set some expo on throttle in WinGUI or MWConfig to tame down throttle.

really?! No software to configure no issues? Just get a compatible gps/compass module (Ublox 6M I presume)? I used an ext compass board but the combined UBlox + Mag will also work. As far as firmware goes you just need to undefined line in Def.h and define mag sensor type in I2C sensors in Config.h.
