Re: cannot write PID values / bricked HK pocket quad
+1 doughboy, verify the equipment you have and go from there. if the board can blink, then load a VERY BASIC multiwii sketch. enable your gyro ONLY. if you can acro fly your quad at this point then you are moving forward, if you still get the same results start looking in the arduino IDE and make su...

Re: trying to get my multiwii board to work
if you were able to 'fix' the problem with LPF it means the issue you are seeing is vibration. usually from the props, but vibration can come from all kinds of things, the bell housing on your motors, lack of foam between the flight controller and the copter, etc. maybe a loose screw to a motor, hel...

calibrate your acc. if your ESCs have not been calibrated via the sketch, do that, it will stop your motors from turning on late.

Re: Quadcopter random yaw in windy conditions
do you have a barometer sensor? you can do a compass lock that will stop any yaw the sticks dont command.
mine would yaw a lot when i had a bent boom, made one of the motors no longer level so it would constantly try to spin the quad.

I have a similar issue since i applied the new dev, when i put the yaw stick in position to arm or disarm, my throttle spikes up until i move stick back to center. i can watch the stick inputs on GUI and they dont increase, but i can repeat the effect even while the motors are already armed by pushi...

eA8jjCqbKZY this guy makes a mistake, in my opinion, the quad wont turn on like that if you do this in a better order. connect only the usb, load the sketch onto the flight controller, unplug usb, plug in li-po only now when the arduino loads it wont turn on your quad full speed. no, you will need to modify the sketch to fit your copter properly and it will compile. its not easy, but its not difficult either, you just have to do some reading. start by only enabling the code to get your basic flight, then after you get that working start adding yuor other stuff. for instance,...

the gyro gets calibrated when you initially turn on the FC. ACC gets calibrating via stick input or gui input. make sure your copter is perfectly level when turning it on.

I am a little confused, i was under the impression that you did not need to calibrate simonk, I never calibrated mine from readytoflyquads.com and they have performed perfectly.
Mine are set at 1064 and always fire. but i dont buy from RCT, only because i hate waiting 3 weeks for delivery.
