I would just prefer the entire voltage readout is the same size, the decimal number sometimes is more important than the integer
I run 4s packs so in a flight the voltage goes from a max of 16.8, and I want to land with voltage over 15.2
Seeing the decimal number is more

Re: Altitude Hold improvement solution
getting back to the revised alt hold without RTH....
Is this likely to be added to the next release?
If not is it at a point where it can be easily added as a patch by those of use a little less knowledgable

Re: mobiDrone nano arduino OSD for MultiWii with PID config
Thanks shikra I have since made a lead to get +ve and gnd from the Rx and was much better. I am about to do a complete re-build of my tricopter, new looms etc and will re-do the gnd wiring entirely I do in effect have a gnd to the camera as i run a coax video cable from the OSD board to the camera l...

Re: mobiDrone nano arduino OSD for MultiWii with PID config
I am connecting v+ and Gnd to the serial connector on the FC board,
I cant see its interference as the OSD is as far away from all the other electronics as it can get
What would be a better Gnd?
And what is the required voltage range?

Re: mobiDrone nano arduino OSD for MultiWii with PID config
Hi, I think it is a problem with resolution detection algorithm. This problem occurs if vertical resolution isnt detected properly. Could you try first turn on multiwii & osd and subsequently camera? I can improve this algorithm but I need a tester with a similar problem. Ok I tried powering up...

Re: mobiDrone nano arduino OSD for MultiWii with PID config
It seems i have one(i hope) final issue The OSD overlay is not stable, it flickers around on screen I have re-wired the video output of the OSD with a shielded cable but that doesnt seem to have fixed it This is a video showing the problem m The interesting thing is the first line of the OSD remains...

Re: mobiDrone nano arduino OSD for MultiWii with PID config
the screen=6 is not a fix, it was something to test, it caused the OSD to start in a menu page. When i had my problem with that set to test, i woud get a quick flash from the menu for a 1/10 od a second before it would then go to teh main OSD screen The OSD will xit setup IF the FC is armed. Somehow...

Re: mobiDrone nano arduino OSD for MultiWii with PID config
Hi Michal I have a problem with my mobidrone OSD: Bat2 doesnt seem to work I run 4S packs (max 16.4 volts), I have run the voltage sense wire to the +Ve section of my power bus. In the OSD display I first got 13.4V, I went into the OSD setup and changed bat2 to read 16.4 with a new pack installed. B...

Re: GPS integration
Is there a list somewhere of "working" I2C GPS modules. Ones that once configured stay that way,and operate with v2.1 software?
Or better still are PlugNPlay as such?

Re: mobiDrone nano arduino OSD for MultiWii with PID config
I have it working now
I cleared the eeprom on the FC, reloaded the arduino sketch, reset all the PIDs and now it works
So I guess the FC eeprom had something corrupted somewhere

Re: mobiDrone nano arduino OSD for MultiWii with PID config
When I make the above change and power up the FC/OSD i get the "MOBIDRONE" line of text as then OSD starts, then i get a quick flash of a menu screen (less than a second) then the OSD screen comes on
I would guess this means the OSD thinks the FC is armed when its not

Re: mobiDrone nano arduino OSD for MultiWii with PID config
No matter what I try I cannot get the OSD to open the menu. I really need an answer to this as I need to re-calibrate the Batt2 voltage display, on a full 4S pack it shows a voltage of 13.8 (it should be 16.8) I dont care about the PID adjustments, but i do need to fix the Batt display otherwise thi...

No I got it to run Mountain Lion creates a new serial device in the listing inside the GUI. If you click on the new one you only get 1 traced line and no PIDs If I go to the bottom of the available ports list I can see the OLD USB port ans with that selected I get comms and it all appears to be work...

Re: mobiDrone nano arduino OSD for MultiWii with PID config
Using release 7 final, do I need to uncomment anything in V2.1 to enable the feedback to the OSD or does it do all the polling for data itself?

Re: playing with acc-z altitude hold
Thats what i thought, but the problem is on two boards the same and nothing is moved or altered - just the powerswitch of the transmitter. If it was an electrical problem, it would have persisted, or randomly occured during operation. But that is not the case. Once started TX/RX without baro distur...

Re: MultiWiiConf 2.1 OS X: Crash when closing COM Port
even if you open the port for a while
you can do a complete setup, calibrations read/write etc and its all stable
Close the program and its good
but close the port first and it crashes

Re: Let's try to release 2.1: second try based on r964
The only thing that confused me (I did not notice this change when merging my old configuration) was the new possibility to also arm the copter using the roll stick - I suggest disabling that one by default to avoid nasty surprises for people who are used to arming with the yaw stick and not aware ...

Re: Let's try to release 2.1: second try based on r964
The GUI opens in a strange full screen mode on MAC OS X 10.7.4 Its a full grey screen with a lighter grey patch in the top left corner and the GUI window centred on screen In the bottom left corner on its own is a gryg rectange with the word STOP, this closes the GUI No Header or tool bar shows whil...
