Nice work!
I ordered mine a week ago but not due here till mid April.
I hope to have it display MWs’ Home coordinates after FIX.
With this and a GPS phone, HOME location can be checked easily.
Again, good work Howard!

Darn MelihK, I ordered with Ohararp and Flyduino a couple of days ago.
I am glad to see you added some mounting holes.
Lack of mounting holes on your serial module kept me from ordering it.

Re: GPS integration
Good idea Christoph or maybe reset each time we arm.
To do this we would have to separate the LED functions, one for armed/tilted the other for Fixed.
Or a new flash rate for Armed/Fixed would work too.
Also I noticed that MW does not stop flashing the LED after 3D fix is lost by the module.

Fritz I wish I could help but I ussing Serial GPS... My MW Home never seams to be where I am. Off by a few meters to 30-40 or more at times. The first Fix I get always is way off and resting MW after HDOP is down around 1.0 helps a lot. In an effort to reset Home I did write a few lines and get a bu...

Re: LED For GPS Fix? Flyduino Mega
Pin 13 already has an LED toggle. I cannot get a lock inside today to see if it is on when FIXED.
Arduino Tutorial has info on pin outs.
I was looking at the one for buttons today as I would like to reset 'home'.
I got a fix and pin 13 flashes an LED when locked.

Re: GPS integration
My HK/Apache GPS module seems to lock then drift, sometimes 100M or more from MWs home position. This may be why my MEGA2560 is freezing after GPS lock with 2.0.PV1&2. (dev_20120225 does not freeze) I’m going to wire in a LED to tell me when MW has GPS fix_Home established and try changing GPS_n...

This morning with 2.0.PV2 loaded and without MAG/BARO, I froze a minute or so after GPS lock. I did however, without unplugging, hit the reset button and loaded dev20120225 into it WHILE I still had GPS lock. I opened a new session of MWWinGUI. I see that I have lock onto 6 satellites and have a dis...

I am in the market for a GPS module as my HK/Apache module may or may not work. HK/Apache uses GTPA010 and the same chipset as the Flyduino’s FMP04, HK/Apache is just smaller. I found FMP04 for $25 but I do not want to buy the same freeze problem again. nhadrian, what Locosys GPS module are you using?

Weather outside today was too good to be inside chasing my freeze issue so… I unplugged my HK/Apache GSP module so I would never GPS lock/Freeze. Re: GPS integration
It may be my HK/Apache GPS....
Before it freezes, on the WinGui I can see the number of satellites change.
Just after it turns green it has 3 or four sats. fixed and shows dist. to home, once 5M, once 0M.
I’m going to go and barrow the laptop again and see if GPS is working without SpekSat defined.

That’s it. I have been flying SpekSat from day one. I know SpekSat works.
I (MEGA) freezes after GPS Lock only when I uncomment ‘//#define SPEKTRUM 1024’.
Its not the hardware as I left SpekSat plugged in.

Dimitri, the WM+ is Gyros only. You say you have ACC values, do you have ACC in Green in the GUI? If so you have an ACC of some kind and you just have to assign switches to turn them on. Without ACCs the copter graphic in the GUI will not move. If the ACC is not green, check to see if there is any s...

Your motors are turning almost three times to fast for a multicopter.
Try sub 1000KV motors. 750KV with 3 cells works best for me.
