Re: Either I dont understand HEADFREE mode or it's not worki

Update, I moved the MAG way out on a boom, heading hold still doesn't function (even a little bit) but mag mode operation has changed quite significantly... Mag mode has such a strong influence on the copter that it overrides not only wind / drift but it actually counters my stick input, I can yaw l...

Re: Quadcopter flipped by itself

I have tried Horizon mode before but I find that the sticks are a bit too sensitive, all I need is a bit more power than Angle mode at the moment . Your rates are both set to 0! these are the green boxes right of the PID's in MWConfig. Try bumping the ELE/AIL up to .80-1.00 and the yaw to ~.75 and ...

There are several things that might cause that, what other symptoms can you give us now? Take the props off and do some testing; hows it working on the ground? Was it windy? I wanted to get the physical antenna out of inside of my body but I knew you cant just solder a longer wire whip on it it'll be worse so I wanted to use a shielded cable to get the antenna portion outside of the body.

That can be fixed by trimming the ACC. First make sure your model is PERFECTLY level, I use a bubble level and playing cards. Then initiate the ACC calibrate command and let that finish (~5 sec). I'll suggest what I use-

Get a Devo 7E, put deviation FW on it (www.deviationTX.Com) and use DSMX receivers. You're looking about $75-85 for the 7E and a Rx. Just whatever you do- DONT buy a 7, it must be a 7E (or any of the other Devo line, just not a regular 7, those don't accept deviation FW).

BT connects to the serial port and is used for configuring / setup / telemetry, no RC data is transmitted from the phone over BT and into the MW. Also there's no way to get a PPM steam out of the BT module.
